Any Tips on Removing Last Main Bearing Cap and Crankshaft?

Default Any Tips on Removing Last Main Bearing Cap and Crankshaft?

I am having some trouble getting the last main bearing cap...

I'm sooo close to getting the crankshaft out.


any tips?

Did you remove the two horizontal allen head bolts on each side?

wiggle it forward and back, it should free up. If not add some heat.

I threaded a couple of bolts into the oil pan bolt holes in the bearing cap and then carefully pried up against the bolt heads to pop the cap free.
