Default Any using MSD Super Conductor wires in a D2?

I just picked up a set of #31199 universal wires and the terminals don't fit the coils. Anyone else use these in their D2? Mine is a 2001 Bosch motor. I've been on hold with MSD to ask them for the correct terminal part number and thought I'd post up in here to see what you guys think. Thanks!

I ran some on the GEMS, but for Bosch the coil side connectors were wrong so I never bothered, plus 8.5mm wires are a waste of $$$ as the coils will never produce a spark hot enough to make a difference vs stock 7mm wires.

Remove the coil side connectors from your old wires and use the supplied MSD crimp tool to put them on the new wires

the 8mm MSD Parts store wire kits are cheaper than any of the factory replacement wires I've seen

MSD 8.5mm Universal kits around here are 75-100.00 here. For that price you can get Kingsborne, STI, or NGK for a lot less.

You are correct, I had forgotten that they sell a "street fire" kit and a "super conductor" kit.

The street fire kit is only $40-$50 and had 1/4 of the resistance of my factory wires (which were still in very good shape).

I've never used the Super conductors but I agree that they are way overkill, both in price and performance.
