Default Anybody heard of "Big Blue" coils from D.A.P.

Website says they give a full 2" and they are cheaper than the Rovertym set. Rovertym is out of stock of their 2" coils and don't seem to have a good idea when they are going to have them in stock. Last time I talked to Bill at Rovertym he said they are expecting them the 1st of August but the date has been pushed back several time before and I have no reason to believe this date will stand. I was doing a search and came across D.A.P. I would like to know if anyone has installed these springs and if they are happy with the quality. I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT OLD MAN EMU!!

here is the D.A.P. website: http://www.dap-inc.com/acc/app/d2/d2_prot-susp.shtml

I asked this a loooong time ago and i remember Mike telling me that Big Blue shocks basically suck and collapse quickly. I think its worth waiting for the good ones...

Default hate the player, not the game...

Why the silent treatment with the OME's?

I was going to get the Big Blues for my truck from Atlantic British, they were $250 shipped.
I have not done them yet.
UrbanPanzer says they are made by Maybach and they are the preferred springs in the UK.

Big Blues are made by Bearmach, I'm assuming that's what you meant...

I've done some reading on these springs today and I've found that they used to have quality issues, but over the past few years have been greatly improved. Some other forums say that they even prefer the Big Blue ride over OEM. I considered them a couple years ago, but was told to look elsewhere, now I've got my eye on them again after doing some research. You can't really beat the price on them....

Let me know if you ever get them. I'd love to hear first hand how they are...
