Default Big Blue Springs

Anyone use these? They are on d.a.p. Inc. and they seem like a good price and good product for a simple 2" lift. My question is, the description says "no other suspention modifications are needed" is this true for a disco? Any advise on these is appreciated, if they suck or whatever just let me know. The description makes them seem good quality and all so I just want to make sure.

With any 2" lift, brake line are a good idea, new shocks of course, steering stabilizer for sure.
How much are they asking for them?
I can't say I have even seen a set of them in the 2 Rover clubs I belong to.
I would tend to point you towards OME, they have 4 different 2" sets of coils.
Use only OME H.D. shocks, not Bilstein's, they are 1/2" shorter then the OME.

Its $260.00 for a set of 4, the write up makes them sound pretty nice here is the link, scoll down a bit on page and you will see them:

I think, with the majority of all Disco owners running OME's I would pay the extra $10 a piece for coil that have been around and proven for many years.
What are you going to do for shocks?

Yeah, I agree, where can I find OEM's?
As for shocks, OME H.D. shocks or Bilstein, which is better?
If I put on those two things (spring and shocks) and not brake lines and a steering stabilizer what side effects (if any) am I going to see. I want to do it right but I want to be as frugal as possible.
Thanks mike.

Both shocks are great, the OME's are 1/2 " longer and will work better with the lift.
The best prive around on the OME's is from Tony at Cerrone's/LRRforums, 650-365-4145
