For anyone with ACE that has converted to coils
Disclaimer: not looking for opinions on why/why not to convert in THIS thread.
I have SLS and ACE and have been weighing out my options in converting while I try to locate the actual issue with my "saggin wagon's" SLS.
When shopping around, I've seen a few kits of shocks and/or springs that say "for cars w/o ACE" etc.
So, my question is: do I need to buy different/certain shocks or springs because I have ACE? Are they just different lengths? Any advice or experience from anyone else that I done the conversion would be appreciated to possibly save me time/coin.
Thanks

I believe the reason is that the ace springs have a heavier spring rate than the standard ones. If you have ace go with it if your buying new, but you can shove the regulars in if you wish. I swapped in ace/sls front springs on my disco today, but my truck just has ace. They fit/sit fine.
