Need your help guys
(I live in CA) I'm trying to leave my 2000 d2 at an auction to sell it off, I need to have it smogged right now before I can auction it off, it won't pass smog just because of a p1590 code which is usually a abs issue, but my scanner says:
P1590
Manf Cntrl Veh. Spd.
Idle Speed Control
Auxiliary Inputs
Now, I cleared the code before I had it smogged and it wouldn't pass because the smog computer could tell that I had just erased the codes, so the shop told me that I had to drive it for 100+ miles, then come back. Well I did, then came back to the shop and the p1590 code came up again, so they told me it won't pass with a code.
How can I fix it just to pass smog?
(I tried cleaning out the Idle Air Control Valve, it was pretty dirty, put code still pops up)

I believe that is a ABS code.
You are going to need to start by inspecting the brakes and cleaning them up of any brake dust, checking the ABS wheel speed sensors to make sure they are tight.
Do a search for the "3 Amigo's".
