anyone ever install portals on the D2?
One thing I really love about the fully loaded H1 was the raised brakes and built in air system which allows you to inflate or deflate one or all 4 tires at the push of a button. Dont have to get out of the truck and it takes about a minute. Very useful. I never heard of portals before until I read a recent thread. Someone said that portals allow you to install the components needed for the air inflation system. Anyways I was reading a thread on expedition portal and someone installed portals on a series/Defender. An expedition truck on portals... - Expedition Portal
Wondered how it might turn out on a Discovery 2. Would be cool to have an air inflation system on a D2. But on the other hand when you consider how good the ground clearance already is, add a 2" lift then the portals, seems like that would raise the center of gravity to a dangerous height that would make the vehicle very very unstable. I like a lift but i also like my axles where they are now.

I was thinking ones that would bolt to the rover axles, unimogs would be soooo much more expensive in the long run
