I have heard of a number of people using GM IAC on D1's, never heard a down side. Make sure you clean out all the carbon before installing it and clean your t/body.

Any parts store worth shopping at can give you the part if you provide the Delco PN.
Though about the cheapest I've seen is mail order from the place near Atlanta that I posted in your other thread about them.

yea i went to advance this morning and picked one up with the part #, $35 i'll put it in tonight and let you know how it goes. do you know any "relearning sequence", it came with instructions for a firebird and a buick, one was drive 40 for so long the other was just bring it up to running temp and shut it off and it will set in the closed position, i figure it would be similar on the rover.

Thumbs up

i put it in seems to be alright, i reset the cel and it didn't come back on yet. it's idleing fine so $35 vs $190 I'll keep the extra $155. now that I don't have to reset the cel every other day I can get on to some other things, like fluid changes.
