i wanna do a water resistant hood scoop ( something than wouldnt let rai water in) for my d2.

hood louvers dont seem to be water resistant... this would be for cooling... not so much looks

 

I'v not done a scoop, but... you may want to check out K&N as they make pre filters for a lot of their filters that are made of a water-blocking mesh cloth...you may be able to incorporate that with a scoop you find.??
