Thank's, so it means I can't use it to rebuild a original drive shaft.... So what u-joint do u recommend? I know as much that it should be 1300 series.

The 380 has the zerk in the end cap (rather than in the valley of the cross) which makes for a stronger u-joint, all else being the same.
Stronger and easier to grease....

I installed one of these yesterday, so far so good.
i dont know how long they last though.

I have had one for 3+years and have never had a problem with it.

how often do you use it though? mine is my gf s daily ride so we will put around 10k a year
