Default ARB Air Compressor

Hey all,

I've purchased an ARB air compressor from my friends at RN. While Art is happy to help me with install instructions, he needs to know where I plan on mounting it. Where have you all mounted yours? I'm thinking of mounting it where the factory jack is in the engine bay for a clean hidden look. What do you all think?

Is it water/ weather proof? Why not mount it where the SLS pump would have gone?

Where's the location of that? It's not the part that was integrated into the front serpentine belt was it?

No, that's ACE.

The SLS pump was on the frame rail, on the left side. There should be an empty box on the frame if you don't have SLS.

Do you have SAI? If not maybe you could mount it on the right fender where the SAI pump would be.

I do have SAI unfortunately, and isn't ACE/SLS the same system? Like if you have SLS you have ACE?

No, Self Leveling Suspension and Active Cornering Enhancement are two disparate systems that could have been had as separate options. The ACE pump is mounted above the P/S pump, where the SLS air compressor is mounted beneath the passenger side on or near the frame rail underneath the truck.

In my country it's the on the driver's side. That's why I said left. It gets confusing with British automobiles.
