My bad, Dusty. I was just tired.

Here is before...

Removing the old bumper was trivial. Just find bolts, remove, pull, toss bumper.

Unboxed new bumper.

There is is also a huge box of parts, most of which I did not use.

A few hours later and

I have to cut the grill; that is why the hood is open.

I have photos during the install, too. Working on those.

Oh I forgot about the headlight sprayers being different on the 03-04. I've got a pair brand new in the land rover bags I'd part with cheap, if you want them. I bought them because mine was an S model, and it didn't have them.... but I never got around to installing them because I didn't have the correct washer bottle.

They are number 25 here: Discovery II Windscreen & Headlamp Washer - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

And I'm pretty sure I've got #29 too. The only thing missing is 35 the clips DYC000190

This was right after I pulled the bumper. Had to straighten the metal in front of the radiator... With a strap.

Jafir,

All holes on the bumper must be filled with gadgets and parts, so I want. I just zip tied my front washer lines underneath. Since I lost my original nozzles I just don't use the washer fluid when my lights are on . .

I already have a cb but the antenna is mounted high on the back and I can't leave it on because it rudely slaps drive though overhangs. Have to figure out something for the antenna tabs.

I never really grasped the whole ground plane concept anyway so I have a range of a few yards, I think.

I should mention that it did come with turn signals but they have connectors that don't work on my truck. I'm going to splice as necessary but there were lots of little parts and figuring that wasn't on the agenda.

I will also have to figure out the fog lights. I'd rather just get some LED ones but that is going to take some research because it is set up (and has lots of little parts and some metal rings) for the 03 Disco fogs.

Just got a PM so for everyone's benefit (or detriment), my wheels are stock with plastidip (actually the home depot stuff... Flexidip or something like that) on them. The plastidip has been on for about a year and gone through lots of automatic and hand (by me) car washes, and has never had an issue or shown signs that it is coming off. The wheel centers are just eBay cheapies (I replaced because my old ones had lost their green). Total cost for all 4 tires (I didn't bother with my spare because it has a cover) was about 40 dollars.

Grill was done as described elsewhere on the forum, and it has leftover plastidip on it, too, so the total cost of that operation was about $2.50 for the gutter leaf guard and whatever leftover adhesive in the garage costs.

Finally, I do still have my grill emblem, but it is green and I think I am going to find one that matches the wheel centers on eBay.
