To those having put a chuck in the fuel filler door, do you mind posting a picture so I could get an idea of location? Seems if I go low I can't fit the hose to it and high I wouldn't be able to remove the fuel cap. Seems a little cramped in there to me, but I really want this location to work for my application.

 

This was a test fit but works great in this spot once all cleaned up

 

 

Those are some cool installs in the interior, anyone run their chuck through the fuel filler door? Other locations for chuck mounted externally? Looking for some inspiration.

 

I fabricated a mount which bolts to the Jump seat location for that viair tank & compressor.
I have moved to an ARB compressor and made a new mount.

I would give the mount to anyone interested

 

was there a mount that you used to locate it there? Did you buy or fabricate? Can you send images of it finished?

 

Hello everyone, new here. I hope I’m replying correctly. I have a disco ii and a 95 LWB. My question is for the disco ii. Anyone who has fabricated the Mount for install on the passenger rear compartment for twin ARB compressors willing to sell or share details on the fabrication?

 

My ARB compressor install in the pass side compartment with air chucks in the gas filler lid and engine compartment. Plenty of room for the twin arb compressor setup in the compartment.

 

Nice setup. I didn't even think of coming in on the top side of the filler, thanks for sharing!
