Hi all - haven’t posted in forever. Finally got my 2003 back on the road after replacing the motor due to a cracked block (that’s a whole ‘nuther story). Unfortunately, my front bumper was damaged in the process. So, I have the opportunity to replace with something aftermarket, and a little beefier. I have always liked the ARB bumper. My question or concern is whether I can install something so heavy on the truck as it’s currently configured. I’ve been trying to find a weight for the thing on line, but have not been successful. I have a 2” lift with OME shocks and RTE heavy duty springs. I realize any input will be subjective, but would welcome insight from anyone who has installed this bumper.

 

If you're moving from a stock bumper to the ARB you will have a little loss of height in the front due to the weight, but the HD springs are more than capable of holding up that ARB bumper.
