My Landy Disco 2 driver's armrest loose and the adjusting rod pulls out. How can I fix it?

 

If the arm rest is loose on a the seat you can pop off the cover on the side of the arm rest and tighten up the nut to secure it back on. Once that's taken care of you should be able to screw the rod back in to set the arm rest height. This of course is assuming that nothing is actually broken.
