Could the following pictures be the cause of wet carpet? It is only way exactly where the area of the rubber mat covers and nothing else is wet. I havent checked after car washes to see if it gets wet anywhere else, but so far this is it. I'm gonna let it dry with the sun and windows open. It does not smell but on to the pictures.

And this plastic panel is now missing. It fell off getting onto the highway...real torque there

Okay guys so the lower windshield cowel plenum air intake part just came in. 1 issue...the rubber strip on the top has a half inch slit in it, like it tore. I'm thinking of just installed it, and then using a rubber sealant from autozone to take care of that. What do you all think?
edit: I looked at RAVE, and it doesnt mention that removing the hood is necessary...but it does mention the side windshield trim pieces, Do I REALLY need to remove those because I heard its a pain...plus one is already broken off, I'd like to keep the remaining one.

Can't wait to hear how much of a PITA that is....I have a damn squeaking noise behind there sounds like the glass or some plastic is getting rubbed the wrong way when the body shifts over bumps.
OH MY GOD, IT MAKES ME WANT TO SHOOT MYSELF!!! I only really get it when it's been sitting in the hot sun, but oh LORD when it makes the sound I cringe.
Well this was the LEAST PITA job I've ever done on a car...Remove hood(with help of friend) 4 bolts total, 2 on each side, remove wipers, remove center bolt and 2 fastening clips on the sides and just re-install the new one. Anyone needing to do this, have no fear, very easy.
If anything, the most annoying part was that I had to do this is a carwash while it poured here in San Antonio Texas. But I fixed it just in time because it rained for about 15 consecutive hours...my truck basically would have been soaked had I not done this. It's very easy, the most annoying part besides where I was, was probably getting the tabs under the windshield, but even then, about a 30min to an hour job.
