Default ATF Flush

I must appologize but I've looked all over the threads... while there has been a lot of discussion about ATF Flushing, I haven't found one that describes HOW to do it.

Can anyone point me to a thread that shows this?

And by the way, what does ATF stand for?

Thanks.

Drain your oil. Fill her up with ATF. Run at idle for around 20 minutes. Drain atf and replace oil filter. Install new oil filter and then fill it with oil Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)

Use 6 qts. of any ATF and do it at an idle only.
