I still don’t get how with certain suppliers like ab you get racked over with duties tax etc and some you don’t like rock auto

I bought the brake line kit the drive shaft tool and exhaust stud bolt kit $296 usd and ended up paying over 500 cdn at the end

How close to the border are you? When I lived in Windsor, I had a US PO and had everything shipped there then brought it over. Saved me big $$$. If you know someone with a US address close enough by, it might be worth the trip. I'm in Calgary, and a couple of my BMW club guys have PO boxes in Montana, we still all have our stuff shipped there, then bring it over in a lump

I’m 2 hours away from the border and I don’t know anyone in the USA or Niagara area. Oh well

redwhitekat it is how they ship. US postal is the cheapest way, UPS and Fedex are the worst so for your 300.00 US package UPS would have hit you with 43.00 US in fees on top of the shipping charges Fedex about the same then add PST and GST plus any duties. Rockauto can ship US postal no fees just duty and taxes

So add another 30 minutes from The Queenston-Lewiston Bridge and head straight to LUCKY8 ( 9620 County Rd, Clarence Center, NY ).
Make a day of it and get all the bits you need!

So far I’m not a fan of lucky 8 or any of the guys there. Only had 1 transaction there and they couldn’t care less. They lost me as a customer
