I think that will have to wait for now, but thank you for the link! That is the only D2 ecu tuning that I have seen.
I had been hoping to find/buy software and cable and do it myself, and as many D2's as I want.
I do that now for several Suzuki's
I think within the last six months or so someone found a guy in NC or something that was going to do it, and they were looking for a group buy type deal. But that is all I remember.

this will be my next major engine upgrade, and that may do it.

Turner all the way! I couldn't be happier with my 4.6 Turner long block. It is nice having a reliable motor with no leaks, ticks, etc. With the gas flowed heads and Kent cam it runs like a raped ape when you floor it! If you are going to spend the money doing tophat liners and a full rebuild, just order one complete. It is not much more in overall cost and much, much easier.

If that was on this site, I remember that too, but then heard nothing else about it, or maybe I'm thinking of a D1.
Anyway, I'de be interested in that for a D2.
I got a Crower cam for my rebuild too, as did a few other members recently.
I'm hoping that wakes it up as much as claimed.

I have to admit that AB are very good regards spares, vids etc but when it comes to rebuilt engines, whatever engine, they will just farm it out to someone else to rebuild.

IMHO there is only one company I would trust when it comes to LR engines and that's .............

https://www.turnerengineering.co.uk/...s-c102x3005626

Many have tried and failed to replicate their quality.

There are many reputable 'engine builders' around but very few know Landrover's inside out.

It's a bit like transmissions and diffs, to me there is only one company in the running, Ashcroft Transmissions.

Quaife and one or two others make excellent gearboxes but they are for specialist applications.
