So after many months i have the electrical noise in my aftermarket stereo eliminated except for one point. When i start the truck i have audio noise until i put the truck into gear. Once i put it in gear once no audio noise until i turn the truck off and on. Then the cycle repeats.

could this be the electrical switch on the gear shift going bad?
