Unfortunately, no, it will not. It's tied directly to the hardware. It checks the firmware version inside the CDP+ before it will do anything.

Thanks SuperSport, I thought it was worth a try.

Believe me, I thought the exact same thing. I've got two Bluetooth and one other USB connection... It would have been nice to be able to use them.

I'm also finding limitations on the CDP+. I wanted to read some ABS codes on my Son-in-Law's Chevy Sierra 1500 Truck, but it's not listed in the vehicles supported. That was a surprise to me. Although, even if it ONLY did the Disco, I'd be happy for the money.

Default New Thread for Updated Installer

I finally got around to posting a new thread for the Installer. I've also updated the installer to be a single file download.

It sketches me out to get out of bed in the morning, but I still do it....

Joking... Probably one of the best sites that I've dealt with. They took less time to deliver than many American sites.

Just an FYI, for anyone considering purchasing one of these, you can install my easy installer from the link two posts above to get a feel for what it can do for you.. It doesn't need the hardware to install and look around a bit. This is only if you use my Easy Installer that Automatically Activates it too... This will also allow you to see all the available vehicles supported, and what they can do.
