Default Autozone has techron buy 1 get 1

Good time to buy a couple bottles of techron to dump in the tank.

That is a good deal, Techron is better the Seafoam when it comes to a gas additive. By the way was that for the large or small bottles?

The small 10 oz bottle that treats 10 gallons. I see techron has a new 10 oz bottle that treats 15 gallons so maybe autozone is trying to move the old stuff out.

Thanks for checking, I used to use the lagre bottles that handled 20 plus gallons, may have to go check this out.

I usually double dose so I dumped in 4, 10 ounce bottles and filled it up. I do this twice a year.

When you use Techron do you run the risk of fouling up the spark plugs like Seafoam.

No techron has Polyethylamine in it which is the same detergent used in modern gasoline just in much higher doses. Seafoam really is not a fuel injector cleaner. It is an upper cylinder lube and can be used to get moisture out of your fuel system. You are talking about running seafoam through the intake which is different anyways.

This is a good deal for those who need it.

It has been my experience that as long as you use good brand gas you dont need a injector cleaner.
No it wont hurt, but it might also be a waste of money too.
