Do you know if you can convert the onboard air for use once you disable the air suspension? Or am I out to lunch?
Honestly have no idea. I'd like to know if you can do such thing as mine still has a compressor. I wouldn't think that it's too difficult, probably just wire up a switch with a relay to manually turn it on and off. Might be hard to bypass the SLABS without throwing a code though. Would be nice to make it work, save a good chunk of change on a compressor.
That idea has been floated several times; searching will show you. Apparently the onboard isn't suitable for tyre inflation because it's very small displacement and very high pressure.
