How do I activate my rear stock white fog lights?

I press the button to the left of the steering wheel and only the red lights next to them turn on.. is that normal.

new to the disco 2 world.

Those aren't fog lights. Those are back-up lights that come on when the transmission is in reverse. The rear fog lights are red.

 

and that's not just a land rover thing. rear-facing white lights are illegal everywhere except as reverse lights.
