Front Fog Lights
My front fog lights have cracks in the lenses and need to be replaced... I've been thinking about just installing brighter LED off road lights instead, but I want to splice it into the current wiring. Does anyone know what the wiring is rated for? How many lumens are the factory fog lights? How many volts/watts do they draw? I obviously don't want to overload it. I've done a few searches on here, the RAVE and Google but I can't find it.
Thanks guys.

I could be wrong but I believe the lights work off a 10amp fuse so you should be good up to 120w total with the factory setup. Keep in mind that the fog lights turn off when you active the high beams.
Here is a bunch of info I put down in a thread when I installed my LED's. There is an install guide in the thread and I explain how to decide what gauge wire to run with what lights. The lights I used would be perfect and you shouldn't have to rewire anything. They make spot, flood and driving lights so pick one that's best for you.

The front fog lights are protected by a 15A fuse (F3 in the engine compartment fuse box), and are wired in 1.5mm˛ cable (20A rated).
The BCU settings can be changed to allow front fog lamps to be illuminated at the same time as the main (high) beams.
