Icarsoft V2 experience?
Does anyone have any experience with this ? I’d really like a nanocom but don’t want to spend that much money atm. Will it do abs system? Air suspension on p38? Basically is it any better than a decent code reader?
Are we talking about the iCarsoft LRII? It is a very good scantool & if can do several handy things for RRS/LR3 owners. It fully read D2 modules & read/reset ABS faults. However it is not a programming tool like the Nanocom/Hawkeye.
I have the iCarsoft i930, and it's been quite useful. It can't modulate the ABS or air suspension though. The V2 has a bunch of extra features for steering angle sensors, electronic throttle, and electric parking brake. None of which you have.
You might want to look at the Foxwell NT520 if money is tight for a Nanocom.
I had the iCarsoft CR Plus for my BMW, Disco 2 and my monster(mother)-in-laws Audi A6. I felt it was lacking in some areas so I sold it for a Foxwell NT510. Works great but it doesn't beat my Nanocom.

I bought the icarsoft LR2 and I love it! You get real time data on everything as well as ABS DTC ability. All I drive is land rovers so it made sense to buy a LR specific scanner but it will still work with any OBD2.
If I want to shut off the superlock, remove sai, get rid of air suspension chimes on p38, program new keys, is the nanocom my only option or will the hamlets do most of the same?
