Default Bad Vibration

Hoping someone can help me out here. I have a 2002 Disco II and the truck is vibrating and shaking like crazy over 20 MPH. I checked the drive shafts for play and there isn't any play at all. It does however slam pretty hard when I put it in reverse. Occasionally here some grinding when driving but it isn't consistent at all, comes and goes. Could this be a bad hub, tranny, diff? Any help would be appreciated.

hold your truck up to the computer, so I can hear it
you have to give us a little more than that to work with.

And look at this flex coupler at end of rear shaft? Motor or tranny mounts? Re-check front prop shaft?

And, STOP driving it before you cause more damage. How mechanical are you?

Have you replaced or rebuilt your front drive shaft, or even checked it?

Loose Wheel? Sounds like a Major Vibration...

I got a nasty vibration over 40mph. We checked all the obvious things mentioned here and elsewhere including wheel balance, steering parts, alignment and more.

Turns out one of the wheels was out of round. The way we discovered it was to put the car on a lift and start the engine and run at 40 mph with the wheels spinning - it became visually apparent. I'd like to think there is safer way to test this -- and one that doesn't require a lift.
