Default Bad wiring?

Hey everyone,

My window went up (as in broke) so I ordered a brand new motor and regulator. Before installing everything inside the door, I plugged the motor in to test it and nothing happened. I also checked the switches which were good. When I press the button to put the window down, nothing happens, however I do hear a click somewhere inside the dash, which means something is working somewhere...right?

I feel like the wiring is bad somewhere...is there any way I can get into the vast rainbow sea of wires throughout this truck?

ANY help, tips, or info would be hugely appreciated.

RAVE manual package download has electrical troubleshooting guide, which is very complete on most electrical things.

It's the ____ wire, on page ____ of the RAVE. Go directly to the dealer, do not pass GO, and pay the $200 evaluation, shop supply, and chewing gum recyling fee.... RTMFB

Check the flexible rubber boot in the door jamb I had a broken wire and it gave me the exact same issue I could hear it click at the bcm but nothing else. I spliced it together and its good as new. Go over it thoroughly, I missed it the first time I looked. good luck
