Default Baffling Issue with Flickering Climate Control Illumination

I am chasing down a climate control illumination issue.

When the headlights are turned on, the climate control illumination flickers. I changed to a spare climate control unit, the flickering still occurs.

Side note: I installed a new 150 am alternator a few months ago. The voltage registers 13.5V and above. Plus, all other lights and electrical functions are working fine. You can see the flickering in the first 5 seconds on this video.

I also checked the interior and engine bay fuse box diagrams. There does not appear to be a specific fuse glade for the climate control unit? This is what I used for reference:

I searched the forums and can't find anything definitive on this issue. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Thanks in advance.

Maybe check the dimmer for the dash lighting?

I suspect the LEDs are going bad. For $45 you can get a new control panel on ebay. If it doesn't fix the problem, you have a spare or can resell it for $45.
