you probably should start off with the correct information the name of the company is Great Plains Rover the owner is a member of the site.

he sells and engine on eBay for $5750 Land Rover Engine Remanufactured 4 6 Long Block w Flanged Cylinder Liners | eBay

now the is $5750 with his eBay fees, i would think and astute forum member would be able to negotiate a fair price with that information. (wink ,wink).

you might even talk to the guy about forum member special pricing (once again mo eBay fees), if he see the potential for volume sales he may, doesn't hurts to ask.

also i would not rebuild an 03-04 block there were to many machining issues.

you would have to do a search and find the last time or two that this came up,
it went on for pages as to if cannibal sucked or not.

the owner of great plains rovers chimed in on the post, you should be able the pm him when you find it.

I sent Mike an e-mail and a link to this thread, so assuming he's still a member, he should chime in soon. And X3 (I think this'll make the 3rd time mentioned in this thread) for what drowssap said...block is identical; no other mods are necessary, just need to make sure and specify if you need SAI or non-SAI for the heads.

This is Mike from Great Plains. I offer two different packages:

Long Block - bare heads and block with flanged liners; performance cam; stud kit; ceramic flowed block and 3 year unlimited mile warranty for $5750

Long Block Plus - All of the above with new timing cover; water pump; refurb pan & valve covers installed with full installation gasket set as well for $6950.

Cams are from Crower; liners and all other parts are from Turner. $400 one time shipping charge unless you're out of the country. No core charge unless you tell me you can't replace it.

Feel free to give me a call if you have further questions. 405-708-0878

Thanks,
Mike
