My 2001 Disco II was leaking coolant like crazy. Used Barrs leaks are gone but so is the heat. I've blown out the heater core so I'm fairly certain that it's not clogged. The engine temp is in normal range so T/sat seems to be working. All radiator hoses are seem to be normal (too hot to touch) except the two hoses entering and leaving the heater core? As I understand, from the shop manual, The supply pipe for the heater core comes off the top off motor and I cant see how that could be clogged. Any ideas why I'm not getting hot water to the heater core? Coolant level is fine and I've bled the line. Is it possible that the reservoir can be holding proper levels and the engine still not have enough coolant?
