Just to update, problem fixed..

Spliced off the negative terminal, grabbed the nut and bolt for the positive side...

Bough a new terminal for $4.50, put onto the negative wire and attached..

10 minute job..

If you need to replace the positive terminal, I have heard Best Buy carries those in the stereo section.

Thanks for posting the fix and congrats for figuring it out.

I found this at Best Buy and then I suddenly found some on amazon.
