Hey all. I did something really stupid yesterday eve...I tried to get up this grassy bank, quite steep but I thought no probs...
As I lost traction and started to slide back down there was the inevitable big bang as my tow bar dug a trench in the ground. That was ok but the tail pipe stuck in the ground too, and folded back on itself forward of the silencer. D'OH!!!!!.
I was proper miffed at my stupidity I can tell ya, and that’s putting it lightly.
So I stopped, jumped out to hear this almighty hissing I thought damn it I’ve bust a tyre, but no…then the missus shouts, it’s the tank, but also noooo.
I went round the back and saw me exhaust buried in the ground jammed up with mud.
Well thank the Landy overseer, I pulled all the mud out bent the silencer up so it wasn’t dragging on the floor and drove home.
I’d put a pic on but I can’t figure out how just yet.
Anyhoo I gotta go out there now and beat it back into shape I just hope I don’t split it…although I’ve got another in my eBay watch list just in case.
I hope this forum is a bit more UK based coz I’d like to maybe hook up with some folk.. It’s really hard to find somewhere to do a little off road.

If it was the rear resinator, (the back muffler, and not the main one under the truck), just hack it off, I took mine off long long ago, better sound and not in the way.
