Default Best source for alternator these days

I'm running 13.3 volts if I run front and rear AC units. Seems to be heat related. Cold engine output is good but once everything is warmed up under the hood the output drops dramatically

Should be 13.8 minimum. I noticed the transmission isn't happy with the voltage that low.

Find a local company that rebuilds them using high quality parts, like semi truck drivers use. Seriously. You will have a better product for the money. If you have to , get one from a wrecking yard and take it to a reputable rebuilder.

I bought a "200 amp" rebuilt alternator off eBay about 2 years ago. Runs at 14v. Seems to be working ok, the only issue, that I'm not sure is an issue, is when I run a heavy load like my dual compressors (~50A), the voltage drops to under 12.6 which leads me to believe it can't push out anywhere near 200 amps. I think if I did this again I would consider a genuine bosch brand new 150A alternator (from the P38)

I just replaced my worlds oiliest alternator with an ac Delco from rock auto. It was reasonable and I'll get $60 back for the core. Doesn't come with the pulley, but an easy swap.

Parts Player P38 Bosch RR 150AMP is the way to go. I wouldn't bother with a D2 120 Valeo or 130 Bosch alternator when you can get the P38 99-02 150AMP unit for around 134.00 online either thru Amazon or Ebay.
