Default Between these two water pumps, is there much of a quality difference?

New water pump time for Brady and the two options at AB don’t tell me much other than how different their prices are. Does anyone have experience with either of these two?

Thanks all!

Bought my last one off Amazon for $40. So far doing better than the $250 one I bought from land rover. Not sure where AB gets there's.

I don't, but really as long as you get a pump with a metal impeller you should be fine.

AB's prices are wild. Many of the products they sell are budget brands or available elsewhere for half the price. The fact that they don't even tell you the mfg name for most of their maintenance items blows my mind.

If you know what you're looking for you can get higher quality parts at much lower prices from places like Amazon, Rock Auto, AZ Autohaus, FCP Euro etc..

  • Orginal Equipment means manufactured quality by the genuine manufacturer, just not in a "genuine" box, saving you money!
  • Quality internal bearing and housing (lesser pumps have cheap bearings that can often seize-up much faster over time)
  • A quality OE gasket that is durable and long lasting (compared to other pumps manufactured with non-spec gasket materials that can often degrade and begin to leak in a short period of time) STC4370E
STC43780A This aftermarket water pump provides cost-effective options to the customer looking to replace their Land Rover water pump with a new part, without spending a fortune

I use Ebay 30.00 water pumps all the time. Yes they’re made in China, but so are most of the name brand units! Only difference is the price & maybe a pretty box.
