Default BG Induction/Fuel/Air questions

I see that people recomend BG 44k and other BG products better than seafoam. There seems to be alot of BG products and i dont know what to buy. Also some products require you to have some special Apparatus to use. I want to know what products can i buy to use myself without the apparatus and which of them are necessary to do with an apparatus at a BG shop. Thanks

Btw, my truck is a 2000 Disco II with 86k miles on it and i plan on doing a 1800 mile road trip from new york to georgia and back. I got accepted into emory university and am visiting it to compare it with my other choices.

also, while driving on this trip, besides the 93 premium, should i use any gas additives on each fillup?

Use the Seafoam for the induction cleaning and a can of 44K in the fuel tank when you start your trip.

bg is just recommended because thats what the dealers and your dealer are trying to sell you they give major incentives to the dealership for selling the product, my suggestion just buy the 3m throttle plate cleaner, clean your throttle plate and your done. you can also start your car and slowly in small amount spray it in the plate it will start to misfire a little but it should be fine. as far as additives in your fuel tank is not necessary sense the fuel you put in allready has plenty of cleaning additives.

Well so much from lack of experience.
Until you have gotten past your un-proven options, don't make such claims, cause you are 100% off base.

The BG44K is one of the very few products that has been tested by independant testers and has been found to actually work, as oppose to gimmics like the tornado and other miracle chips and/or cures.

Personnally, I can vouch for the fact that after one can of 44K in my gas tank, I found that it is better on gas than it was. Haven't had time to actually mesure how much, but after 1/4 tank, I've gone back to the mileage that I usually get with summer gas, and we are still using winter gas up here. So I was so impressed with those results, that I immediately went back and got another can that I just put back in to make sure that I get the best results possible.
