Default bigger rims

I bought a used 2000 Land Rover Disco 2. I would like to upgrade to bigger/ nicer looking rims for my wife(this is primarily her vehicle). Is there any way to know exactly which rims would work?
I want to buy some used ones, but not the wrong ones.
Also, if anyone wants to swap; mine has 5 brand new Goodyear Forterra and 16 inch rims. I may consider a swap if someone had some nice 18's that would fit my Rover.

You should upgrade to 18" hurricane rims. But if you want to get larger rims than 18's you need to find a rim with a 5x4.75 bolt pattern and 4" backspacing.

The larger the wheel, the worse the ride, the larger the turning radius and the more expensive, besides they fon't ride as well as the 16X8" wheels you already have. Throw some 245/75/16 AT's on and let her go. Anything bigger will cost you lots of gas.

Thanks, I will check the Hurricanes. I like that style, but not sure on the going price. I believe I've seen some on Roverland and Ebay though.

Thanks for the input on the 16's. I am going to price everything and go from there.
Ultimatley, my wife would put up with a little rougher ride, to have the vehicle looking better.
