HOPE EVERYONE IS O.K.I INSTALLED BIGGER TIRES 255 70 16 ON MY DISCO ANDHAVED NOTICED SHE IS
SLOWER ON ACCELERATION.IS THIS NORMAL ?WILL IT AFFECT ANY SUSPENSION COMPONENTS?THANKS LIKE ALWAYS.

Well, now you got me. Some guys on here are claiming hardly seing a difference in performance when running lifted Discos with 265/75-16 ????
I red that 245/75-16, would cause to cost 1/2 m.p.g and 265/75-16, 1 m.p.g
This guy is running 255/70-16 which is smaller than 245/75-16. how would it cost him 1 m.p.g or even a slight difference in performance????

Actually, I stand corrected, I did not read carefully enough to realize he stepped down in size, all I notice was that he felt he lost some power.
I lost 1.5 MPG when I installed my 265/75/16, gained most of it back when I went to 4:11 gears.

Actually Disco Mike, my goal was not to catch you in error. I'm just new to Rovers and am in the learning phase, in which I'll be for a long time considering the mountain of trouble that represents owning a LR. So when something does not corroborate stuff that I think I now know, I lift the flag in order to set things straight and move on to new stuff to learn.
