I want to replace my dinged up evaporative canister purge valve, I have another unit from a donor vehicle that still has two of the nylon hard tubing attached. The clamp seems like it is intended for one time use. Do I cut the existing tubing and splice together with a double male plastic universal fitting, or cut the clamps off and apply new clamps?
