Default Bleeding brakes

I've changed all the lines and flexible hoses on my 2002 Disco. I've bled the brakes (the traditional way) but it still seems a bit spongy...

Is it a good idea to "gravity" bleed the lines?

I don't have the fancy equipment to actuate the ABS module like I've read about to bleed the brakes.

(Note: When I replaced all the lines and hoses, I kept the master cylinder full and the ABS unit did not drain.)

Did you try using your Hill Descent Control to activate the ABS and then bleed again? Should work unless you have the Amigos.

No...I have the "3 Amigos" due to a failed hub bearing that got really hot. It triggered the Amigos as the ABS sensor was frying! (I replaced the hub unit and brake sensor...but haven't had the amigos reset.)

Not happy with mine either and I did do an abs bleed, they just feel kinda of mushy.

I bled both starting at the farthest line and the odd (to me) rave method.
