Figured it out! rear driver side there was a bundle of wires zip-tied to the chassis, one of the wires was so old it was cracked about every eight inch and was grounding out. re-wrapped the wires and it works like it used to. Of course this is after I pull the dash apart both driver and passenger side trying to trace wires, but hey its better now! WOO HOO!!!
