Funny....an argument started on both sides for me. I'm not worried about it, just asked a follow up. I didn't look online to order them, but I did check lowes...nope. TrueValue...nope. Napa....nope. Pretty bad when you have look to order 4 nuts online. I wasn't confident in putting on the things napa sold so that's why I asked.

I put grade 8 nuts/bolts on the front and reused the 4 best nylocs on the TC side. My plan is find new ones and replace them. Thanks for the info.

I was surprised at the vibration I got from the old shaft....just tiny bit of play on 2 of the joints. Glad it announced itself, because at 57k I had assumed it was a down the road issue.

Thanks again

Order some nylocks of a few varieties from Fastenal or something similar. You will not be happy you didn't spend the $2 for the new nylocks if the driveshaft dislodges and rips a hole in your transmission.

I've bought tons of fasteners from a few different places. The most consistent and high quality ones have come from Fastenal. Also, whatever hardware you get, use 1.5" length and make sure they're zinc coated. It resists corrosion much better than bare steel. Going to grade 8 from grade 5 won't make any difference as long as you're torquing correctly and using nylocks. As another poster mentioned, the primary force that drives the differential front he shaft is friction between the flanges, which is optimized by high clamping force.I used grade 8 on everything and also used a through-hardened washer to help distribute the clamping force better.
