Books about the Discovery
Has anyone seen or read the "Land Rover Discovery Workshop Manual: 1999-2002 (Land Rover)" by Rover group LTD. I`m thinking of getting it but is close to a hundred bucks so is quite an investment.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
pablo, i just bought a CD for the computer that is an engine, transmission, and transfer case over haul manual, as well as owners manual, electrical skematics, troubleshooting manual, body panel repair manual, and much more and is very detailed with good directions and pictures. I know it contains info for disco 1 and 2, freelander, range rovers, and defenders. Just let me know if u want a copy and ill try to burn it and send it to you, hopefully it doesnt have anything that will not allow me to burn it, but i dunno im not very computer smart when it comes to that but its worth a try, just get back with me if u want me to try and i will mail you a copy.
I have the Disco I 95-98 MY shop manual. No really good electrical schematics nor in-depth functional tests. It isn't too bad for mechanical rebuilds and specs, but a CD with search capabilities has got to be better. The manual I have is available via roverparts.com. It is around $130USD.
Wouldn't mind finding a copy of the CD with better information.
