Default brake fluid leak - master cyl or reservoir?

hey guys, i am in a pickle. brake fluid leak from the reservoir/master cylinder area is getting worse, most likely because of the extreme cold shrinking the already bad seals and gaskets. i've read about some quick fixes involving compressing the reservoir onto the master with zipties to further crush the gaskets. i'll try this tonight to stop the bleeding but this is a daily driver my wife uses for the kids...meaning i want to get it right. should i take it to carlos in the bronx for new parts? is there someone on long island i should take it to?

If you and siphon or drain it first to eliminate contamination on the epoxy. Then dry clean with alcohol, use JB weld 2 parts. then tie the zip. That might work.

You can order new grommets here:

https://www.powerbrakes.com.au/shop/...0be1e9e495da5?

It is in Australia, so shipping time and cost will be relatively high, however, Aussie dollar is cheap on the dollar. The 21.80 Aussie price is less than $16 US. Our D2 is their D4, notice production years.
