Default Brake Issue When Wet

This is more of a general question than anything. At the end of my road there is an off camber turn I make when I take the kids to school. When making this turn on rainy days I seem to have an issue. It feels almost like it locks up or the brakes do not work, i can't really tell which, either way I have a hard time stopping. I can actually feel it in the brakes. This happened this week and I actually had to drive past my turn because I could tell I wasn't going to make it. This isn't a fast turn I travel down the road at 40ish, and slow down well ahead of time.

I'm not if its a traction control thing or an ABS thing, but what I'm really asking is if this is a problem with one of my systems or is it just a road condition issue?

Don't understand the comment..."feels almost like locking up or brakes do not work" ? Are the brakes locking up or not? Or are you saying your pedal "seems to be" locking up (harder to push and getting no results)? If that is the case, l'd check the vacuum booster or vacuum line and make sure you are getting proper assist.

Yea, I wasn't sure the best way to describe it. So the brakes must not be locking up, the the pedal is not getting harder to push. It almost feels like a slide, but I'm not really going fast enough to feel much of a slide, I thought it may be a traction control thing, but it since the brakes don't seem to be assisting (in that one specific turn) I wasn't sure how to best describe it.
