Default brake issues

the brake rotors on a 97 Disco were rusted into one peice, pins and all, so to change the pads I needed to replace both front calipers, did with no problems, calipersfrom Parts America(worst place ever to purchase from) bought a new set of pads and pin kit from Atlantic Brittish- now the pedal feels much better after the bleed and new fliud but the brakes seem to have a pulsing/slight grinding effect. 2 local brake places want to disassemble most of the system to locate the cause, or just replace entire master abs and most everything-and at 65/hr. I think they see $$$$$ not many rovers where I live, any help would be much appreciated

Default RE: brake issues

Go to my site, and read under the tech notes-- the section about Brakes. It sounds like you may have contaminated the ABS modulator if you did not release pressure (by opening the bleed screws with a submerged hose attached)--before-- caliper piston retraction.
