Default brake issues with my 97 rover !!

hey guys,,iam having brake issues with my 97 rover..i changed the pads and rotor and my driver side brakes and rotor started to smoke..so i changed the caliper thinking maybe i damaged it when i compressed the pistons back in..so so i changed it out , i did bleed the system out and drove it ,the driver side brakes/rotor is still smoking????the other side is fine...this is driving me nuts !!!ANY IDEAS WHAT MAYBE CAUSING THIS ??i changed the rotor and caliper ???

My only thoughts are that maybe you've got a proportioning valve issue. It's probably time for you to consult a local professional on this problem.

check your caliper slides, if theyre not moving right, itll cause the caliper to hang up, you should be able to move them in and out easily... the things the caliper bolts go into

the calipers are not locking up ..i checkedthem out..i took it to a mechanic and the smoke has gone away slowly..he thinks i was burning up the grease in between the vents, the one it come to protect it from rusting.i cleaned the sides, but not in between the vents on it..seems to be fine now..brakes are grabbing fine as well.
