If you can get a hand held wore brush on the ends that were exposed it could do you some good, along with the cleaner and PB it should make the job easier. In some cases I have used a torch to liquify the threadlock but I do not know if this is a case where it is possible.

LR uses Loc-Tite on EVERYTHING, and since this is your trucks very first brake job...

Yep, Thats the way to work at em. Also, stop by home depot and pick up a 3 ft piece of iron pipe to slip over the handle of your ratchet to extend it. Will give ya much greater applied force with less effort.

Pull, pull, backoff. Pull, pull, back off. Cuss, take a chug of beer, cuss. Pull, Pull, backoff. It'll take about 1 pint of beer per bolt...
