hey guys..

i f-ing cursed today...first my ignition lock and now my brake switch.

-the brake lights are on all the time when the ignition is on
-brakes work fine
-SWITCH DOESNT MAKE CONTACT WITH PEDAL ARM!!!!!
-if i remove the switch and hold the plunger in..the lights go off!!!

i used some duct tape and 4 pennies and added some material between the plunger and the pedal arm.....worked like a charm.....

when the switch brakes...can the plunger stop coming out and cause this issue? the switch feels crisp...i dont get it

 

nevermind.....i searched a little better and found out i had to pull the plunger out..

i'm gonna steal a couple of this switches tommorow at the junk yard JIC
