Brake Pads
Hey all,
On my to do list is brake pads, I have no amigos, just a maintenance plan,I have read some threads here about having to reset codes so, I'm wondering about these...
1. Simply replacing the pads - does that induce faults that have to be reset?
2. I have changed pads for Ford, Toyota, Chevrolet, and Peugeot from previous ownership, will I need any special tools beyond what I have to change pads on a Land Rover Disco II?
Thanks
Robert

You'll just need some clamps to press the pistons back into the calipers to fit the new pads. I just switched to a set of Ferodo pads up front and haven't had any squeaks for the 2K miles they've been installed. Be sure to check the rubber seals around the pistons too, and don't rip them with the clamps.
